Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new customers and sales opportunities.
Visit existing customers to take orders and foster long-term relationships.
Participate in 4-6 trade shows per year across the country.
Report directly to the Sales Director and engage in frequent company conference calls.
The Ideal Candidate
The right candidate will be an independently driven, analytical thinker capable of achieving ambitious sales goals while maintaining the integrity and mission of our brands, ensuring they are well-positioned within our target market, to have the ability to think 'out of the box' to approach new markets and customers
Requirements
3-5 years of wholesale sales experience in home goods, preferably in modern design, or a strong affinity for contemporary art, architecture, and design.
Availability to travel 50% of the time and familiarity with the territory consisting of: Florida, Georgia N&S Carolina, DC, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama
The successful candidate should be located within the territory and within easy distance of an airport.
A proven track record of sales growth and the ability to nurture long-term business relationships.
Willingness to engage in occasional manual labor, such as assisting with trade show set-ups.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in computer literacy.
