Title: Architectural Sales Representative
Location: REMOTE/HOME OFFICE: NY / Tri-state Area
Pay Range: $80K-$100K Base + Commission/Bonus (OTE $130K+)
A leading provider of innovative masonry and stone anchoring solutions is seeking Director of Retail Sales to drive the growth and market penetration of our products across major national retail chains and industrial distributors, including but not limited to Lowe’s, Menards, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, True Value, Tractor Supply and similar home center and hardware retailers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a national sales strategy specifically for growing market share and penetration across core retail chains and distributors.
- Establish short- and long-term sales goals, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and consistent profit growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at major national retail chains and industrial distributors.
- Lead contract negotiations, including terms and conditions, to achieve optimal business outcomes and foster long-term partnerships.
- Proactively identify and pursue new retail and distribution partnerships and opportunities to expand the company’s presence in the consumer and industrial fasteners market.
- Develop and present quarterly and annual sales forecasts and performance reviews.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in retail sales and distribution, with a proven track record of success selling fasteners, hardware, or similar products to large national retail chains, industrial distributors and relevant customers.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders and, most critically, close.
- Strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset and data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
