We are actively looking to diversify our customer base and are searching for opportunities in large complex weldments and machining in all industries. We are looking for experienced Sales Representatives in different geographical locations to help us establish more business opportunities. Potential sales representatives must have a proven track record and an existing contact base. Candidates must be willing to travel and have knowledge of fabrication and machining. They must possess excellent negotiating skills and provide a level of customer service that is second to none. As a key member of the Southwestern team, you will receive consistent support from the Corporate Sales Group.
The compensation package will be discussed at the interview stage. This meeting will take place at Corporate Headquarters and include the President and our sales team.
Duties
- Generate quote packages with new and existing customers in your geographic location.
- Work closely with the manufacturing team and project management team to ensure the work is progressing as scheduled.
- Report to the sales manager and/or upper management of any issues that could or will affect the customer relationship.
- Manage the relationship with the customer.
- Provide a detailed report on sales calls and prospective leads on a weekly basis.
- Attend sales meetings as required.
- Achieve goals set in quarterly sales meetings.
- Travel plans and meetings to be distributed to the sales representative weekly.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience selling fabricated and precision machined components.
- Post-secondary educated preferred.
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills with senior management in large corporations.
- Always exudes professionalism.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to negotiate and deal with high pressure situations.
- Detail orientated with great multitasking skills.
- Strong work ethic with a drive and ambition to succeed.
- Ability to travel as needed and work outside normal office hours when required.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong working knowledge of the current Microsoft Office suite.

Salary: Starting at $40,000.00 per year, plus unlimited commission.
