Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated remote Sales Engineer in Boston, MA to join our team. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for prospecting and driving sales of our customized commercial HVAC products and solutions in the Boston area. This position will play a key role in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers while achieving and surpassing sales targets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leverage HVAC knowledge and experience to develop sales opportunities for various represented products within the New England territory.
- Identify and cultivate a sales territory, including customer calls, product and quote inquiries, and technical requirements.
- Work with the engineering and construction communities on the selection, design, and specification of various HVAC product lines
- Quote, track, and negotiate sales opportunities
- Create and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and increase market share for custom HVAC products.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and maintain CRM records to track sales activities and customer interactions.
- Assist in the ordering, delivery, installation, start up and training associated with HVAC sales.
- Learn and maintain a high level of knowledge related to our HVAC products, business objectives, and sales opportunities.
- Stay current with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to provide strategic insights and recommendations for growth and innovation.
- Work closely with internal team members leveraging remote communication tools to ensure seamless coordination and excellent customer satisfaction.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to customers as needed to provide technical guidance and support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships and long-term partnerships with existing and new clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet their project applications requirements.
- Promote a high level of customer service by understanding customer needs, addressing inquiries, and offering recommendations.
- Coordinate and participate in marketing activities in assigned territory (industry events and trade shows).
- Create and manage sales budget with senior leadership.
- Attend continuing education and training programs as required.
- Travel to customer accounts within territory and to corporate headquarters as required.
Desired Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in HVAC manufacturing products industry.
- Proven track record in sales, specifically commercial HVAC.
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of HVAC systems and equipment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, customer service, and presentation skills.
- Must possess great critical thinking skills and ability to adjust in a fast-growing business.
- Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and driven to achieve sales targets.
- Existing network and relationships within the HVAC industry.
- Experience with CRM software for managing sales activities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
- Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel within assigned territory.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $500,000.00 per year
