Outside Sales Manager
Soil Building Systems manufactures the highest quality organic composts, soil mixes, mulches, and specialty landscape products for the fast-growing Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. We seek a high performance sales person who will share our excitement with providing the best landscape-related products to the Metroplex’s developers, builders, landscapers, and municipalites in order to consistently win sales and market share.
Outside Sales:
ü Build a pipeline of viable contacts, jobs and projects, and close sales
ü Seek and pursue bidding opportunities, navigating to find the buyer to win them over
ü Conduct cold calls and roaming field visits in pursuit of new business
ü Use CRM and other tools to track progress and manage prospects
ü Practice expert follow-up and follow-thru
Account Management:
ü Stay in contact with top customers and deliver world-class account management
ü Drive additional business through exceptional customer relations & upselling
ü Provide concise and timely status reporting to management
Marketing:
ü Assist in the creation of marketing collateral and marketing campaigns
ü Participate in trade shows/events
ü Conduct Lunch-And-Learns
Required:
· Must have prior commercial / industry technical sales experience
· Must have a pleasant and inviting demeanor, and be able to win people over
· Must have reliable transportation and be punctual
Huge Plus:
· Knowledge of commercial bidding process and the ability to navigate your way to the buyer
· Governmental contracting / buying / selling / bidding
· Landscape industry experience/exposure
Nice to Have:
· CRM and/or Microsoft Excel experience/expertise
· QuickBooks exposure
· Horticulture education, experience or passion
Compensation:
· Base salary - weekly
· Commission plan

Pay: $500.00 - $2,000.00 per week
