Position Summary:
The Account Manager supports the company’s supply chain operations while ensuring a high level of client excellence. This position is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction with an emphasis on timely response to requests and ensuring reliable data. The Account manager is responsible for monitoring inventory, invoicing customers, and managing the billing process. It is used to create a more consistent supply chain, reduce cycle and lead times, and improve on time delivery. This role is remote and part time (approx 20 hours/week) with the ability to travel approximately 2 times/ year, must be available to travel internationally and domestically.
Position Responsibilities
- Manage accounts to effectively assist customers and answer questions with a focus on increasing relationships.
- Build, develop, and grow relationships within the natural and organic food industry
- Partner with key cross-functional team members internally and externally to ensure inventory is accurate and up to date.
- Establish positive relationships with external teams at co-manufacturing sites to drive ongoing continuous improvement.
- Support manufacturing in adherence to Prospera Foods customer standards during production, international transportation, and warehouse operations.
- Identify and communicate roadblocks or risk areas that could impact the timing or quality of the product. Escalate issues to upper management.
- Partner with internal cross functional teams, including Quality Specialist
- Develop, maintain, and manage key performance data for executive team
- Analyze demand data, work with co-manufacturing and procurement in the expediting of order readiness
- Monitor capacity utilization to ensure customer demand
- Develop, drive, and continually improve a comprehensive program as defined by Prospera Foods expectations
- Utilize Quickbooks & TraceGains (inventory management system) to track inventory, update orders, and ensure customer needs are met
- Assist the Finance department with Accounts Receivables by following up with customers as needed and recommending action
- Prepares and updates sales reports, statistical data, and customer information, as needed
- Attend trade shows as necessary
- Other duties may be assigned.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply chain management, or related field
- 3 + years established relationship within the organic and natural food industry, required
- 3+ years of experience in Account Management working in food manufacturing
- Knowledge of food distribution including inventory, inventory control, distribution and logistics
- Ability to develop a strong understanding of Prospera Foods flour business from farm to the end user
- Experience using Quickbooks and MS Office 365
- Demonstrated analytical, time management, interpersonal, change management and communication skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and follow up
- Preference given to candidates that are fluent in Spanish
- Ideal candidate would live in the Denver/Boulder, CO area

Location: Remote working from home and very minimal travel ; approx 1 international and 1 domestic trip/year
Pay: Based on candidate experience and qualifications.
Hours: Flexible ~ 20 hours/week, must have immediate availability to respond to urgent requests and support and be available for very minimal travel, approx 2 trips annually
