Therapy Adventures, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children worldwide, is looking for a passionate and driven Sales/Admin Coordinator to join our team. This unique role leverages your background as a clinician to make a lasting impact on children while building relationships, organizing life-changing service trips, and growing our nonprofit’s reach.
Position Overview
In this role, you will utilize your experience as an SLP, OT, PT, or BCBA to recruit and support fellow clinicians and students for service trips and long-term placements abroad. You’ll also manage social media accounts, marketing campaigns, and outreach initiatives to further Therapy Adventures’ mission of providing pediatric therapies to children in underserved communities.
Key Responsibilities
Program Development & Recruitment
- Leverage your background as a therapist to build credibility and trust when recruiting students, graduate students, and clinicians for service opportunities.
- Recruit participants for 1-2 week trips and source clinicians for longer-term (6+ months) international placements.
- Partner with universities and professional organizations to attract participants and foster collaboration.
Outreach & Relationship Building
- Build and maintain relationships with universities, professional networks, and community organizations.
- Act as a Therapy Adventures ambassador at networking events, conferences, and outreach initiatives.
Marketing & Social Media
- Manage and grow Therapy Adventures’ social media accounts to connect with therapists and other key audiences.
- Design and execute marketing campaigns to raise awareness of service opportunities and our mission.
Qualifications
- Active licensure as an SLP, OT, PT, or BCBA (or equivalent credential).
- Passion for nonprofit work and a commitment to improving children’s lives globally.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire others.
- Experience in recruiting, program coordination, or marketing is a plus but not required.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Hours & Compensation
- Full-time position: Monday to Friday, with occasional evenings or weekends for events.
- Base salary: $70,000 per year, with significant bonus opportunities based on performance.
