Job Summary:

Our client, a manufacturer of premier of injection molding machinery globally, is seeking participants for sales management roles in an international high-tech company. Starting in April 2025, it provides hands-on experience in a global sales environment, focusing on innovative technologies that shape everyday life – from automotive components to consumer goods.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Building up comprehensive specialist expertise in the area of injection molding technology (products, technologies and processes)
Obtaining extensive industry know-how with respect to markets and competitors
Building on leadership and refining sales skills and strengths
Forming an intercultural competence with a focus on Austria, Mexico, China, Korea and the U.S.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:

Overall duration of the trainee program: 1 full year
Orientation to company based out of the North American headquarters in York, Pennsylvania
Introductory phase and initial training in Austria: duration approximately six months
Training at the production and sales subsidiaries in the US, Austria, Germany and Mexico. Potential opportunity to also travel to other regions around the globe.
With time spent at the North American headquarters in York, Pennsylvania, between these activities

EDUCATION:

Undergraduate degree in applied sciences or technology (mechanical, plastics technology, automation, mechatronics or other Bachelor of Science degree) required
Master’s or MBA graduate degree program preferred

EXPERIENCE:

One to five years of professional working experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

High willingness to travel internationally with a team and individually
Willingness to take on a position abroad after completing the trainee program
Must possess a valid passport and have the ability to easily and quickly obtain the appropriate visas
