CityScapes International is looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our Sales team. Our central Columbus location on Lyman Ct off 270/Cemetery Rd consists of our 200,000 sq. ft. office and manufacturing facility. Many of our products can be viewed on the beautiful acreage and surrounding greenspaces. The facility includes an attractive break area with a full kitchen and a workout facility with private changing rooms, showers, and even a personal trainer.
Essential Job Functions:
Market Development Manager is critical to cultivating new and existing businesses. This role will primarily help identify and manage the partnerships that will help to accelerate our business objectives. You will develop a business strategy for your territory and work with our marketing, project management and sales teams to close and execute successful deals throughout the U.S. This position will be located in the regional territory (West Region). Still, it will require 25-50% travel to identified major cities with developed opportunities.
General Responsibilities:
- Learn and become an expert of CityScapes suite of products.
- Strong presentation skills to education of the construction space including Owners, Developers, General Contractors, and Mechanical Contractors.
- Educate and provide product awareness to the Architect community through AIA-approved presentations.
- Drive and identify new partnerships opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with clients, increase client base and maintain good rapport with the existing clients.
- Work with the Leads we provide to guide them through the sales funnel.
- Must interact with Clients regularly and understand the challenges faced by the client.
- Conduct research to identify market and industry trends and to accelerate CityScapes Innovative and traditional product offerings.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a combination of Business Development or Sales role
- Experience launching new business development, content marketing, sponsorship, and distribution partnerships resulting in the material audience and revenue growth
- Demonstrated ability to align and lead the company’s strategic initiatives and navigate seamlessly across key stakeholder teams [Business Development, Marketing, Content, Operations, Product].
- Strategic thinking and prioritization skills.
- Effective communicator & listener
- Experience presenting and effectively communicating strategy
- Experience building deep partnerships with business teams for long-term roadmaps and planning
- Familiarity with construction, building industry, or architect community is a plus
- Sound business & strategy judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills are critical to success in this position
