Roles and Responsibilities:
- Create new business opportunities and markets for the chemicals that Elchemy specializes in.
- Take P&L ownership by leading procurement & sales for the North America market in personal care chemicals
- Establish a high-performing sales team and achieve ambitious sales targets, especially in regions like the United States and Canada.
- Generate high-quality leads using a variety of methods, such as cold-calling, cold-emailing, attending physical and virtual conferences, and engaging with LinkedIn groups.
- Conduct research on potential prospects and manage negotiations and written contracts.
- Collaborate with distribution divisions and cultivate relationships with customers.
- Develop proposals and presentations to secure new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Identify industry trends in the chemical sector to target the right stakeholders.
- Manage both the existing sales pipeline and the development of new business opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities
- Preference to candidates based in New York or New Jersey
- 5+ years of expertise in the field of International Sales and/or Procurement
- Previous sales background in chemical distribution is a significant advantage
- Driven by ambition and a deep passion for Sales.
- Proficiency in interacting with C-level executives and key decision-makers within large companies.
- Self-motivated and dedicated to achieving success.
- Formal education in the chemical field will be a plus
- Entrepreneurial bent of mind, strong techno-commercial acumen, networking, ownership & commitment, and high EQ will all be highly preferred qualities
